Il a assumé entre 2008 et 2014, le mandat de rapporteur spécial pour le droit à l’alimentation du Conseil des droits de l’homme à l’Organisation des Nations unies. Il est, depuis 2015, membre du Comité des droits économiques, sociaux et culturels de l’ONU. Chercheur associé au CETRI
