Deborah James is Director of International Programs at the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR ; www.cepr.net) in Washington, DC, and coordinates the global Our World Is Not for Sale (OWINFS) network. She writes widely on issues of trade, corporate power, and development, speaks regularly with the media, and has inspired audiences through speeches in over 40 countries on these issues, including (in Spanish) throughout Latin America.
